Wison Engineering has reportedly announced that it won an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract from ADNOC Gas in Abu Dhabi, UAE, for Phase 2 of the Rich Gas Development (RGD) program. The contract is valued at approximately $4.04 billion, covering the construction of a new natural gas processing train in the Habshan area, and is reportedly the largest EPC contract in Wison Engineering’s history.
The contract was awarded by ADNOC Gas, the gas-processing subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and represents Phase 2 of the Rich Gas Development (RGD) project to build a new natural gas processing train in the Habshan area. The contract scope reportedly includes gas pipelines, separation and condensate stabilization facilities, acid gas removal facilities, deep NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) recovery facilities, and a 220 kV substation.
