사우디아라비아 전력조달회사인 SPPC(Saudi Power Procurement Company, 사우디전력구매공사)가 CCGT(Combined Cycle Gas Turbine, 복합사이클 가스터빈) 방식 민자발전사업(Independent Power Producer, IPP) 3차 라운드의 사전자격심사(Qualification) 절차를 개시했다고 전해진다. 사업 참여를 원하는 개발사들은 8월 16일까지 자격 서류(Statement of Qualification)를 제출해야 하며, SPPC는 9월 11일 예비자격 통과 결과를 통보할 예정이라고 알려져 있다.
